It's a limited edition, a collector's object and it is truly beautiful. However, it creaks when opened and I get the feeling that the back of the book can't take that much. Other than that I love it and it has a special place in my shelf. For photos and close-ups from inside the book, see this set on Flickr:

A beautifully produced volume of the author's preferred text. If you're a Neil Gaiman fan, this is definitely a special edition for your collection. Comparable to the Hill House editions of American Gods and Anansi Boys. I'm going to enjoy reading and re-reading this volume.

I was one of the original subscribers to the Hill House Publishers' Neil Gaiman Preferred Edition series and I thought I'd never get my copy of this gorgeous book.

Thanks so much to everyone at William Morrow for taking over this edition and producing it so wonderfully.
