About the Author
Amy Jo Sheppard has taught environmental education and worked as a back country guide throughout the West. Sha has worked as a chef at several well-known Montana restaurants ans was the head chef at Breteche Creek before becoming its director. Chase Reynolds Ewald is the author of two books on traditional craft, Old Masters of the West and Old masters of New England, as well as nearly 100 articles for periodicals such as Southwest Art, Sunset, Outside, and Countryside. She lives with her family in northern California.
