5.0 out of 5 stars Nice album May 8 2004

I agree with joseph hayes, pretty poor musician ship, but hell, with a room full of computers and and effects boxes who said you have to be able to play your instrument to make a good record?

1.0 out of 5 stars Standard anglo beats, nothing special here. . . Aug. 28 2001
Format:Audio CD
There is nothing in the least which is dynamic about this CD. Sounds like a cut and paste of beats with uninspired riffs overlayed, none of which reflect any real musical talent or anything which would be remotely infectious or danceable after hearing one or two songs of. Disappointed and misled. This has been sorely overrated by other reviewers. Listening to DJ Greyboy (Greybreaks vol. 1), Cut Chemist's material or the Breakestra would make this sound like silly amateur breakbeat wanna be caliber material.

5.0 out of 5 stars Acid jazz worthy of the moniker Oct. 25 2000
By Flying
Format:Audio CD
This fine album features jazzy instrumentals, delicate samples, rhythm guitar and bumping beats. Allow yourself the time to fill your ear while absorbing the rich textures of mixing and layering of sound. Here's competition for Spring Heel Jack. Never boring, the album has no weak tracks.

By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
An amazingly cohesive and infectious album that sounds (almost boringly) familiar on first listen, but which reveals a number of pleasant subtleties on repeated spins. The beats are huge but tasteful, and relished with an array of funky & bluesy guitars, samples, scratches, horns, and harmonica. The end result is less hackneyed than the Crystal Method, but brighter and more direct than DJ Shadow. Highly recommended.
