The first Dan Mangan tune I heard was Robots (2nd track on this album), a tune I couldn't get out of my head and deserved repeat listening, much like this album. After seeing him live at Glastonbury I bought this CD and have not been disappointed. Full of beautiful melodies, delicate arrangements and wonderful lyrics, this is one of the best original albums I've heard all year. There isn't a single bad track on it, and I'm defiantly going to check out his other stuff. Buy this album.

The entire album is fantastic. I was just introduced to Dan Mangan last week. I heard 'Robots'. a fine tune. I listened to a couple others, and fell in love. 'Sold', 'The Indie Queens are Waiting', 'You Silly Git', all are just exceptional. from start to finish, it's a really wonderful album.

I know there are fans out there who adore Da. I saw him at English Bay in Vancouver this summer and thought how cool. Got home and bought a couple of CDs. But how disappointing. Most tracks fairly tuneless. Production rubbish. Poor instrumentation. On one of the tracks of one CD sounded like he'd suddenly forgotten the words. These CD's will lay in the drawer til I get round to selling them on Ebay!
