Product Description
This amazing impact and water-resistant lantern illuminates at 230 lumens, which can be smoothly dimmed to 10% capacity. The battery life lasts 50 hours at full capacity and lasts four times longer at lowest capacity. This lantern is paired with an impact and water-resistant infrared remote control. The remote control is conveniently equipped with a LED beam. Both the lantern and the remote control are capable of SOS-flashing frequency. Convenient yet essential features also include a built-in recessed hook at the lantern base, removable cap to provide foward area light, and LED indicator.The LED lights never need to be replaced. I just got the lantern delivered. This lantern works perfectly! It is pretty bright, and the remote has a nice bright light also. The remote range is not the greatest. If you leave the lantern in your tent, you have to be quite close to turn it on. However you can find your way using just the light on the remote. I still haven't tried it in the rain, but if it is true to te specs, I should have no issues with water. I will drop a line once I test it in the wet weather, and for longer use. Overall, good bang for your buck.

This is the coolest LED camping lantern by far.The light is fully adjustable from high to low just by holding the on/off button down. Dim to super bright. And if that's not cool enough....the AAA battery operated remote control does it all as well......and this remote has a built in LED flashlight too. Plus, now its $5.00 less than what I paid for it 2 months ago. I guess it's time to buy another one. Get one....you won't be sorry. You'll be happy you bought it. The minimal operating instructions don't tell you that you must press the button on the lantern 3 times, then a blue light in the round window above the button on the lantern comes on. Then you can use the remote control! I had to pay to mail the first "defective" lantern back. Only by experimenting for a LONG time with the 2nd lantern did I discover the trick to getting the remote control to work! Also, the parts list said the remote control included 2 AAA batteries- it did not. Once you master the remote control, it works as described by the others. I couldn't find another remote control lantern with an adjustable amount of light, so I'm really glad I got this one to work.

I received my Nichia light today, couldnt be happier this light is fantastic perfect size for a tent, it has a bright light that you can dim, remote also has a built in light of its own that is also bright, you cant go wrong if you purchase this item. Only 3d size batteries for the lantern, an two triple A-s for the remote. The only down side is this light is not made in the usa.
