Product Description

An exclusive cold process method extracts the essence from selected vanilla beans grown on the island of Madagascar. The essence is combined with vanilla bean seeds and infused into an all-natural base, creating a pure vanilla bean paste with an intense, delicious flavour that retains the full bouquet of pure vanilla. A convenient replacement for vanilla beans in any recipe, the seeds (sometimes called 'specks') and the unique paste texture give cookies, cakes, ice creams, puddings, custards, and sauces an upscale 'gourmet' look without the effort of scraping the seeds from whole vanilla beans. Vanilla bean paste's thick viscosity helps maintain the integrity of icings and frostings, ensuring they do not become too soft, while adding the visual appeal of the vanilla specks.
One tablespoon of vanilla paste equals one tablespoon of vanilla extract or one vanilla bean.

When I used to watch people bake on The Food Network and they would add this special vanilla bean paste to their creme brulee and cake recipes, I was so envious! Not only do you get all that vanilla flavour, you also get all the tiny little vanilla seeds. Who on earth can buy that many fresh vanilla pods? Not me. Now I can make high end desserts at any time. Could not be happier with the product. I feel like a professional baker and my baked goods taste and look professional too.

Another great product for the kitchen and particularly for you the Chef.

I don't know about your area, but where I am it can be tough to find vanilla beans and sometimes when I do find them I'm not willing to pay the price being charged.

This product solves both problems as it is reasonably priced and a great tasting product.

Buy a container and you will soon be using it in your cooking

I bought this because I bake a lot and cannot find this in stores. I made vanilla bean donuts with it and they were a big hit! A very concentrated about of vanilla bean in a small amount. I will be using this for cupcakes soon as well. I love that this, along with actual vanilla beans, show the flecks of vanilla in the baked product to show the freshness of your ingredients!

If you're looking for a "paste," you'll be disappointed. For what it is (a vanilla flavoured sugar syrup), it works. But it's not pure, it's not a paste, and it will throw off the sweetness in some recipes.
