This will be my first purchase of a book by Lawson. You can't help but get caught up in the sheer gorgeousness of the recipes and her irreverent commentary. However, this book is going for under Cdn.$20 on the U.K. website...Come on Amazon Canada...let's be competitive, shall we?

What's not to love about Nigella's larger-than-life attitude towards cooking food, eating food and in fact, food, in general!! Absolutely gorgeous photography compliments Nigella's wonderful use of the English language. It almost makes me wish it was "Christmas every day..."(I said almost!!) Great book for novices and pro's alike; clear directions with accompanying pictures showing what it should look like!

Granted , i am a big Nigella fan and a christmas freak but even so this book is great ! Nigella digs out her usual uncomplicated delicious recipes that are useable all through the winter season not just at christmas time. I already made several of her recipes and they always come out great. Big bonus with Nigella's books ofcourse is that they read like prose....
