Night Court Season 4 - The show Hits Its Stride,

If you have fond memories of Night Court that aired after Cheers at 9:30, this is one of the seasons you want to get. This is the first year of Roz, the deadpan bailiff that replaced the dear ladies that preceded her. She is, like her predecessors, a nice, low energy force to offset the over-the-top antics of the rest of the cast.There are no extras to speak of, but each episode looks and sounds decent. I, for one, am just glad that they released season 4. It makes me confident that I will soon own the entire series on DVD.

Along with MASH, The Cosby Show, and Barney Miller, Night Court was in a select group of comedys that could still give you a good laugh [when you need it].Note: This edition may be the "DVD Download" edition on single layer discs.

I really do not understand why this show is being manufactured to order. It's the best comedy from the 80's and one of the best EVER!! Few shows could consistantly make me laugh my butt off like this one.Harry,Dan,Bull,etc. are characters pretty much everyone knows and there hasn't been the like before or since. Is there any wonder John Larroquette won four Emmys doing Dan,then took his name out of contention to be fair???? The performances are outstanding and I so love the interactions between Harry and Dan- so funny yet at times touching. The picture quality isn't the best but not the worst either. It's so sad that there are no extra features! Bring on Season 5 and give it the treatment a classic,one-of-a-kind,hilarious show like this deserves!!!
