While there are some entertaining moments and a chance to see some of your favourite characters from the first movie, this one lacks the sparkle of the original and tastes a lot like cold leftovers -- similar to the meal you enjoyed last night but with a kind of off-putting flavour melded into each bite.

Nowhere near the mark that the first one hit. We had trouble watching it to the end. The cast was great but they didn't have the script to match.

"You know what that sound is?" ... "It's rhetorical!"

This is the ongoing saga of Larry the night guard and his little friends. In the sequel to "Night at the Museum," Larry Daley is now a successful entrepreneur. He is all but forgotten his museum buddies. They have been packed up for shipment to the Smithsonian. However, something has gone awry or a Rah, Kahmunrah that is. Will Larry be able to save his friends in the world from a certain evil being (Hank Azaria)? On the other hand, will he assist this being in using the Golden tablet to unleash the underworld?

To add to the complication it looks like Larry has found himself a new girl Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams.) However, she is not real and he does not know how to tell her this. Can anything good come from this relationship?

Sequels are hard to make sometimes they surpass the original at other times they are a pail reflection's. I am afraid the sequel is more of the same and adds nothing new to the saga of Larry the night guard. However, it is still fun to watch.

For those people interested in the technical I have only seen the Blu-Ray version and of course, this type of movie lends itself well to Blu-Ray for sights and sounds. One of the drawbacks is that you spend good money to avoid commercials yet this presentation had so many coming attractions that you forget what you are about tom watch.

This is a good movie. However, the characters weren't as developed and as funny as they were in the first movie. The story concept was good but the scenes in the movie didn't connect as well as they did in the first Night at the Museum. This movie lacked real-to-life inspirational moments that make a good comedy a great comedy.

My daughter loves this movie. We have the first one too and only at three years old my daughter gets in to the movie as well.

While the first Night at the Museum was no classic and let's be blunt the plot had more holes than swiss cheeze, this one carries it to an extreme. Hank Azaria steals this movie with his comic brilliance. As for the rest of the forgetable group, well it is truely forgetable. How does a wood and paper plane go through a reinforced stained glass window without a scratch anyway?
If you need a mindless kids movie and a nap this one's for you! If they do another sequel I say bring back the power-mad lisping Pharoah, maybe he can fight the Scorpion King?

Second in the series. Light hearted. Great Family show with lots of action. If you're not sure, buy it, you won't be disappointed

I would buy anything with Ben Stiller in it, he has to be the best funny man ever. Buy it.
