Nim at Sea just as good as Nim's Island

I have read both Nim's Island and Nim at Sea and saw the movie version of Nim's Island.
I am a BIG fan of Wendy Orr and just loved the first book, Nim's Island. My daughter and I read it LONG before it was made into a movie. The second book, Nim at Sea, is just as good. It is funny and creative.
I don't want to give away the story for anyone who wants to read the book (and you should). The first chapter starts off with Alex and Nim being seperated which is why Nim is at "sea."
I, my daughter and my mother all enjoyed Nim at Sea and thought it a great sequel.

If you love theNim's Island movie you definitely need to read the books! This is a follow up to Nim's adventure! My 9 yr old daughter loved the book!

Just as cute as the first one--with a bit more action--though I wished it had taken place on Nim's little island again. But there were baby monkeys in this one ;) so it's a trade-off... I bought and read this book on my Kindle and the playful illustrations looked great.
