Trained from childhood in the way of the Ozunu Clan ninja, he is stalked by fellow warriors for breaking free of them and their iron-willed dojo patriarch (martial arts legend Sho Kosugi)... and is on the run with a Europol agent (Naomie Harris) who has proof the clan sells assassination services to governments. The action is start-to-finish - fast, fierce, filled with weaponry (chains, swords, staffs, shuriken) and awesome athleticism. Fear not the weapon, but the hand that wields it.

Loved the action in this movie! Non stop from beginning to end, too bad there wasn't a sequel to it :(

After V for Vendetta, James McTeigue fans had great expectations for his next project. Sadly, it didn't come to be as interesting as it should have been. The plot's abysmal at best and the characters are washed up and bleached versions of better protagonists. Granted the script wasn't written by the Wachowskis, but that alone should have sounded the alarm that something was wrong. There's loads of blood, even the question of how "superhuman" the ninjas actually are, but no question you can ask yourself will be answered, be it in-depth or even scratched.
The features don't show much either as you get the usual Warner extras. In a word: less than twenty minutes worth of it.
Glad I didn't pay over $5 for that.

this is a great action movie form start to finish. Well worth the cost of buying it. Common story but heck who cares I was entertained. Thats all that matters
