If you're buying this then you probably already know what I'm going to say. The N64 is a great system for playing those old favorites from your childhood: The original Mario, Donkey Kong and all of the other timeless greats. Many of these have now been released for the latest systems or emulators but have been "modernized" and "improved".Play is simple, effective and lacks the sprains, strains and breaks associated with accidentally throwing your controller at your new plasma widescreen. A reliable source of N64 game cartridges will be needed but these can be found used for very reasonable prices. Buyers who are not familiar with the N64 are warned that this is an older, golden-age gaming system. It will not play modern games. Overall, excellent value for its cost.

Nintendo64 may now be considered an outdated gaming system, but in my mind it will always be the best. Nintendo64 was the first system to introduce the joystick to the controller and has one of (if not the) best controllers ever made. This is the system that started the legacy of the James Bond games with Goldeneye, continued and enhanced some of it's Super Nintendo games such as Starfox and Mario Kart. This also brought such great strategy games as Starcraft and Command and Conquer to game console. It also made the legendary Legend of Zelda games superior even for modern times. It has made some of the best racing and sports games that never seise to entertain. -In short- Nintendo64 is worth buying and I would even consider it over PS2 or XBoX

N64 IS THE BEST!,

This may seem weird to you people out there with game cube or boring x box but I love n64 more than any other system! Seriously!My friend has all the nitendo systems (NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64, and Game Cube) ( game cube borrowed from cousin) but my favorite system will always be N64. It has all my favorite games (except star wars rouge squadron 2) such as Star wars episode 1 racer. I recomend to any body that want's a game cube but can't afford one(such as me) to get this. Infact this may also suprise you but I ordered one 2 days ago because I like it better...
