Pokémon Rumble Blast is an all-new Pokémon adventure exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in which players battle as toy Pokémon in an imaginative world called Toyland. The game contains more than 600 Pokémon each with its own unique stats and power levels. Pokémon Rumble Blast contains two new battle modes. Players will also enjoy two-player wireless multiplayer and through the 3DS' wireless StreetPass feature can challenge Toy Pokémon of other nearby players, and view customized Mii characters within the game.
In Pokémon Rumble Blast players battle as toy pokémon. As the first Pokémon game created exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS system, Pokémon Rumble Blast gives fans the chance to experience unique, fun and fast-paced Pokémon battles in 3D without the need for special glasses. As they explore imaginative levels filled with Toy Pokémon, players can battle and collect more than 600 Toy Pokémon in all - including Pokémon from the Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version games. For added social fun, players can use a local wireless connection to team up, battle and collect Toy Pokémon together, or use the Nintendo 3DS system's built-in StreetPass feature to challenge other players' Toy Pokémon collections.
Social and wired like no Nintendo system before it, Nintendo 3DS brings fellow players together in exciting new ways with StreetPass communication. Set your Nintendo 3DS to Sleep Mode and carry it with you wherever you go to exchange game data like Mii characters, high scores, and custom characters with other users you pass on the street. You control what data you exchange and you can exchange data for multiple games at once, making virtual connections with real world people you encounter in your daily life.

Most of the elementary/middle school kids today like this game. I liked it and thought it was quite fun, amusing and I always understood the plot. Full of twists and turns, this game made me never want to put it down.Spoiler!!! Once you've beaten the game you can up the strength of the pokemon to make it harder but you have to pay in their pokemon money. at one point you must save up 50,000,000. Its very hard to do that but worth it. I love that you get money for releasing pokemon you don't want and you can become legendaries!!! fun!

Pokémon Rumble Blast builds upon the Pokémon Rumble game available on the Wii Shop channel, but knowledge of the previous game is not required to enjoy Rumble Blast. The 3DS installment goes above and beyond the first game, adding towns, world levels, a developed story, and many more Pokémon. The 3D graphics on the 3DS look clear and colorful. For other 3DS games, I usually move my 3D bar on my system down to about halfway, but for Rumble Blast, I turn the 3D all the way up - the 3D is definitely one of the best I've seen on the 3DS. The music in this game is also catchy; a few of the tunes were taken from the original Rumble game. Rumble Blast also supports a two-player mode, so you can play with your friends. The length of the game also seems improved from the original. At first the game starts out fairly easy, but it progressively gets more difficult and provides a challenge. Even after playing through the entire game, it is still worthwhile to continue playing - there is a Collection option that acts like a PokéDex, where you can see all of the Pokémon you have encountered and which ones you haven't had join your team yet. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this game, and it has met and exceeded my expectations.

My 11 year old son eagerly awaited the release of this game and saved his birthday money for two months to pay for this game. He is actually home sick this week with pneumonia and this game has been great for keeping him in bed and resting. It's full of all his favortie pokemon characters, challenging and fun! Even my 17 year old was watching him play and said he'd like the game too!

For what it is, this game is actually quite fun. It's a simple "dungeon crawler" type game, where the Pokemon and the moves are the "loot." There is quite a large variety of moves to find, and each one is very different from the others (requiring different strategies to use). The real meat of the game occurs when you beat the story mode. The entire world levels up and you can go back and re-play all the old levels, trying to get the strongest Pokemon. You can also pay coins to increase the word level and keep it going.I'm currently playing this game with my kids and we are having a lot of fun. |
