Past games and such---
I been a Pokemon fan since Pokemon first came out to North America. I got every Gen pokemon game. Yellow, Silver, Saphire, Emerald, Pearl, Diamond, White, Black 2 and such. But when Black 1 came out. The game didn't feel right. The Pokemon didn't look good compare to the past games.. Heck Pokemon Blue and Red Pokemon looked kinda better in battle come compare to Black and Black 2. Story felt kinda boring like they were running out of ideas

Pokemon X and Y-
I got the X game and might be getting Y sometime soon
This game is awesome and is a good revival to people who lost interest in Pokemon.
This is no Pokemon Stadium but getting Pokemon x to see my Pokemon in 3D is worth it
Game Freak did a amazing job making this game.
Not much has changed in battling but with the new look of the game it will bring people more into the game
I know people who weren't a big fan of Pokemon games. But X and Y made them look into this game and getting a copy. I also can't wait to play my pokemon from my past games in 3D such as the 3 Legendary Birds and 3 Dogs.

So if you don't own this game yet or thinking about picking up a copy. Do it. If you been a fan of past Pokemon games then you'll love this one

I give this game a 10 out of a 10. Or even a Game of the Year for the 3DS

Pokemon X is an amazing game within the series and displays how far the series has gone since the first games, red and blue. The graphics and music are some of the best. Different ways to find certain Pokemon also create a more realistic environment, and for the first time character customization is available in-game (though I wish there were more choices for hair styles). The only downside would be the slight lag time during full 3D battles, it isn't as noticeable once you grow use to it but can be a bit annoying at first. The storyline is okay when compared to Pokemon Black and White (my most favorite storyline within the series thus far). Sadly, there are also less new Pokemon this generation than any other generation, and the 2D graphics that pop up every time you battle regular trainers, gym leaders, the elite four and the champion can get really annoying.
So my overall ratings for the game would be as follows:
Graphics: 4/5
Music: 5/5
Storyline: 4/5
Overall: 13/15

You will NOT be disappointed in this game! The first entries (along with Pokemon Y) in Generation VI is nothing but pure amazing. Seeing all your favourite Pokemon in 3D battling, evolving is awesome. I have always been a Pokemon fan since I was 8 years old (I am now 24) and Pokemon is (in my personal opinion) the best games ever! Pokemon X and Pokemon Y are among the greatest Pokemon games released since the original Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Silver & Pokemon Crystal. Every game is great in the series don't get me wrong. lol I would HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone. Nice and simple, take your time, or be competitive and battle online. The all new Fairy type helps balance the over powered Dragon type and the all new Mega-Evolution is all included in Pokemon X and Y.

I have noticed a lot of people give flack about the lack of post game material. To me, that doesn't matter, they did an outstanding job bringing the world of Pokemon into the 3DS! Maybe the next game (whether it be Pokemon Z or Pokemon X2 & Y2 or whatever else may come). But for those who haven't played since a certain generation, I would highly suggest playing this game.

This game proves that Pokemon is no where close to ending anytime in the near future and I can not wait to see what they release in 2015 and beyond. (since we already know Pokemon Omega Ruby & Pokemon Alpha Sapphire are out November 2014). :-)

So if you have ever played a Pokemon game back in the day, or played every single game up until now, play this game, it will not disappoint! :-)

My opinions and I stand by them! :) lol (had to say it)

I've generally felt that many of the 3DS's biggest name, most successful and most enjoyable titles have catered greatly to the nostalgia of those of us who grew up playing Nintendo games, whether it be throwbacks to older titles within new material or upgraded ports of games many of us probably haven't touched in a long time. This is pretty smart, appealing to what has kept those of us who are a little older than when we started playing as franchise devotees and hooking a new generation of young gamers on what made some franchises such classics in the first place.

Pokemon X (and presumably Y) absolutely does not fail to deliver on this front.

If I had reviewed the game after only one play through, I might have been inclined to give it a less positive review. Don't get me wrong, the basic Pokemon game play is there as always and is no less fun than it ever, the legendaries are some of my favourite designs ever and the character customizability (skin tone, hair cut, eye colour, and clothing) is a really great addition that I think a lot of us have been hoping for for a long time. But the short and simple story and the low quantity of post-game content felt like a bit of a let down after the Black/White generation was so impressive. I blew through the game at lightening speed and felt a bit let down when it was over.

Replaying it without having to rush to achieve completion gave me a different perspective, however. Your character, who now can look more like you than ever, sets out on an adventure with several friends with diverse approaches to undergoing the standard Pokemon journey.
