5.0 out of 5 stars This game is addictive, May 22 2006
By A Customer
This review is from: Brain Age (Video Game)
I had heard how this game had become a massive hit in asia and ordered it as soon as it was out. Basically it has you perform a number of tests. You may have to use the stylus or you may have to speak or read. Based on your results of three tests chosen from a number of tests it gives you your brain age from 20 to at least 80. You can then train as often as you like with various tests (ex. performing fairly simple mathematical problems, reading aloud as fast as you can, memorizing numbers quicly etc.) to help improve. You can track the brain test training to see how you have improved your age. the system tracks your improvement on the tests and shows it by graphing it. It tracks top scores individually and by all the people using the game. Based on how much you practice, you can open up new training programs regularly. There is a doctor who give you tips and guides you through your training. He mocks you when you dont do well and applauds you when you do well. As an added bonus there is sudoku for all the addicts out there. Even my 63 year old mother became addicted to the game.

Certainly good to tweek the brain cells! I find it very entertaining instead of watching the TV. My brother made a reference to it, so I thought I would invest the money.

2.0 out of 5 stars BORING, May 7 2010
Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Brain Age (Video Game)
I had fun with this at first, but got tired of it after about 2 or 3 weeks. Also, while I improved on the games a little, I never felt smarter as a result of playing it. I did give it the ol' college try, dutifully playing for several months in a row before I gave up. The Sudoku game is okay though.
