This was a totally awesome game. I loved it as much if not better than the other Final Fantasy games. This is one game I would recommend to anyone who loves Final Fantasy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Square Enix Rocks~!, Nov 22 2006

Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Final Fantasy V (Video Game)
The new job system is fun~ But one thing I dislike about the new system is that all mages need to buy spells from the *magic store* before the characters can use them, even if you have enough ABP or MP to use the magic. Unlike Final Fantasy IV, where characters will automatically learn new spells as they gain higher levels (but only at certain levels), you need to travel to different towns looking for new spells to buy.

One thing I'm particularly fond of is the story line, it's much more interesting and better integrated into the game. Some dialogues are funny too~ Also, the characters have more facial expressions to make the game more lively~ ^_^

Time flow during battles has also improved. In FF IV, players can experience strange pauses after command executions.

Overall, it's a good remake. But if there's still anything I really want to complain about, it would be the expensive Phoenix downs... >_<
