5.0 out of 5 stars Punk at it's Best, Dec 26 2002

Great cd! "She Stands There" is my personal favourite. Then "Frankie" it just rocks so hard. Ric Ocasek did a wonderful job on production. The songwriting is excellent. Jesse Malin is a lead singer to be reckoned with. His voice has such range. I saw these guys in concert & they rock just as hard. Great band. If you like Hanoi Rocks, The Ramones & The New York Dolls you will like this. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Balls to the wall rock for the weary..., Jun 7 2001

I can never make a long story short, but in '96, I saw these guys open up for KISS and lucked into this album a little while later. I wasn't disappointed in the slightest.

They've got an updated Dead Boys/GnR pastiche that isn't even remotely original, but it's still a lot of fun. "Too Loose" and "Capital Offender" are my faves, but it's a perfect album for just pure raunchiness whenever you want/need it.

Kudos to Ric Ocasek, who shows us how a pop producer and songwriter can still produce righteous rock whenever he gets the opportunity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Old School Punk at its Best!!!!!!!!!!, Jun 19 1998
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: No Lunch (Reissue) (Audio CD)
DGeneration's second album is one of the best albums recorded in the last few years. Right from the opening of the first track "Scorch" to the end of their Reagan Youth cover "Degenerated" the album has you hooked. The album features three songs that first appeared on the debut album. These songs, "No Way Out," "Waiting for the Next Big Parade," and "Frankie" are joined by new hits such as "She Stands There," "Too Loose", and "1981" to make one of the best punk rock albums ever recorded. The album manages to capture the amazing power and presence that this band can create live. This album is a must buy.
