By Courtney Lewis (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: No Time To Cry (7-12) (Paperback)
My favorite book is No Time to Cry. its about a girl Dawn and she had cancer for two years, and she met this guy Jake, and she known him since the fifth grade? Dawn was walking to school one day to catch the bus. Jake hollered her name she turned around and nobody was there Jake moved up closer to her and said her name again. Jake asked her if she wanted a ride to school, she said yes? Ater school was over Jake caught up with Dawn he asked her if she wanted a ride home, she said no, because she had to leave somewhere, but she really didn't she had an appointment to go to with Katie her nurse that helps her with things if she needs help?Dawn woke up one morning her throat was swollen and she had a rash on her arms, she went to the doctor and he said she might have cancer again, so Dawn had so back to the hospital and the doctor said she will have to stay for another year or two?

Memories,
By Krista Schrader (Jacksonville, NC USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: No Time to Cry (Paperback)
This, being the forth book in the Dawn Rochelle series, has a lot to do with something we can all relate to: memories. Through out this whole book, Dawn is facing nightmares of memories coming back to haunt her. She is faced with remembering Sandy and Marlee, as well as her own times in the hospital. This is very hard on Dawn, seeing as she's trying to get on with a normal life without cancer. This life is interupted by a rash that sends Dawn into a panic about weither or not Rob's marrow is working in her or if it's failing. This book will make you think that every horrible memory in your mind, really isn't anything compared to what some people go through.

Anything by Lurlene Mcdaniel is great,
By A Customer
This review is from: No Time to Cry (School & Library Binding)
I love reading her books, she's a great author. She really understands how cancer people think and feel. And I should know, comsidering I am a cancer survivor. Dawn Rochelle is like me in a way, I also had a BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant).(insert from book) >> But no matter how long she stays in remission, Dawn fears that her battle with cancer will always be with her.<< This is very true. I have been in remission for 4 year, but I still remember almost everything and I will always wonder if my Leukemia will come back. Anyway, this is a GREAT book!!
