HASH(0xa97f2fa8) out of 5 stars Right On Track May 19 2011

Blue Sky Black Death has done it again. Kingston and Young God create another masterpiece akin to A Heap of Broken Images and Late Night Cinema. Deep memorizing tracks that leave you in a different state of mind. In my opinion, BSBD are some of the best producers in the game. They have a complete understanding of musical progression and develop some of the best instrumental music I've ever heard. NOIR really highlights their talents and only leaves you wanting more. I cannot recommend this album enough.

HASH(0xa7b1590c) out of 5 stars Meant to be instrumental Aug. 12 2013
By Sleepless in Ohio - Published on
The big difference between this album and other "instrumental" hip-hop albums (even those by BSBD with the exception of Late Night Cinema) is that this album was composed as an instrumental album from the beginning. Other producers (even great ones like RJD2) put out albums where they remove the rap track from the CD and call it an "instrumental." You end up with the same 5-second loop repeated over and over and it gets tiring really fast. Once you listen to Noir, you'll hear how inferior that approach is. There is more music in one song of this album than in most full albums.

Just received it in the mail, bought a used disc but looks brand new. This has to be one of the best albums i have ever bought, There is almost nothing that can top what BSBD have done here. It is truly an amazing piece of art, it is so beautiful it makes my nipples tremble, my gullet sink, my balls drop like anchors and my cerebral hemorrhaging pulsing like a super charged nano particle in the deep reaches of the cosmos.... buy this.

I love this whole album. I wish it was longer then an approx hour. It has only what I can describe as an awesome mix of electronic plus opera sounding instruments.
