Book Description

April 5 2011
Four childhood friends have teamed up to form Vows, one of Connecticut's premier wedding planning companies. Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac have become experts at making every bride's dreams come true. But when they're faced with the whims of their own hearts, things never go as planned... Vision in White: With bridal magazine covers to her credit, Mackensie “Mac” Elliot is ready to capture the happy moments she never experienced while growing up. Her father replaced his first family with a second, and now her mother, moving on to yet another man, begs Mac for attention and money. Mac’s foundation is jostled again when she bumps into the bride-to-be’s brother…an encounter that has them both seeing stars. Bed of Roses: Since she was a little girl, Emma Grant has always loved romance. So it’s really no surprise that she has found her calling as a wedding florist. And on the surface, Emma’s love life seems to be thriving. Though men swarm around her, she still hasn’t found Mr. Right. Jack Cooke’s been best friends with Parker’s brother for years, which makes him practically family. But the architect has begun to admit to himself that his feelings for Emma have developed into much more than friendship. Savor the Moment: Laurel McBane believes in romance—in theory. But she’s too low-key to appreciate all the luxuries that other women seem to long for. What she does appreciate is a strong, intelligent man, a man just like Parker’s older brother, Delaney Brown, on whom Laurel has had a mega crush since childhood. When Laurel’s quick-silver moods get the better of her—leading to a mind-blowing kiss with Del—she’ll have to quiet the doubts in her mind to turn a moment of passion into forever… Happy Ever After: No man has rattled Parker Brown in a long time, but the motorcycle-riding, raven-haired mechanic Malcolm Kavanaugh seems to have a knack for it. His passionate kisses always catch her off guard, much like her growing feelings for him. Parker’s business risks have always paid off, but now she’ll have to take the chance of a lifetime with her heart...

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality June 24 2012
By Jan2
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This was my first experience in purchasing reading material
listed as 'Used'.
I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of
the boxed set.
There was some denting in the packaging, but
the set had most of the original wrapping
and the books themselves were intact.

3.0 out of 5 stars Books ok, quartet too pricey July 5 2011
By Victoria - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
The books themselves fit firmly into my "beach reads" file, for which I refuse to pay more than $5 a pop, so while I actually enjoyed these books (and I'm new to this genre and was a complete skeptic) I'm confused as to why the quartet is so expensive. 1) E-books should by rights be cheaper than print--There is no printing, shipping, stocking, etc that normally go into the price of print books.
2) Purchasing the books individually is cheaper.
3) Normally, you get a break when you buy a bundle...Definitely not the case here.

Don't get me wrong, I think you should read and even buy these books. They're perfect for a lazy Sunday or anyone who have weddings on the brain, and there's a little something for women with different personalities. Just maybe don't buy THIS bundle.

1.0 out of 5 stars Why is bundle price more expensive than the total of the individual books??? Dec 3 2012
By Luv2read - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
Nora Roberts' books are always a good read but I don't understand in this case why the bundle Kindle price is more than the total of the individual Kindle prices for the books. I know it says the price is set by the publisher but it does not make sense.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Bride Quartet Sept. 25 2011
By rlb - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I stumbled across this box set by accident. I read about Bed of Roses and it being the second books so looked further for the rest of the series. Once I had purchased and it had arrived it took me 3 days to read all 4 books. The books are probably the best books I have read in a really long time. I loved the stories, the characters and didnt want it to end. I wish Nora Roberts would right a follow up book for the girls or that we would see a movie made from the books.

1.0 out of 5 stars Good Books - Box set is WAY too expensive Aug. 3 2012
By K. Meyer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I really enjoyed these books when I bought them in paperback as they were coming out. Now I want them for my Kindle, and can't belive how expensive this set is. Each individual book is $7.99!!! Do the math before buying. You shouldn't be paying more than $31.96 to get all 4 in one. Shame on the publisher for setting this price.

1.0 out of 5 stars What's with the price? April 12 2012
By Louise R. Andres - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I have bought a number of Nora Roberts and JD Robb for my kindle. But this set is over TWICE the cost of the paperback set. What is with that? I have bought the paperbacks instead - used. I would expect better from this author, whose work I love.
