As the film progresses the couple (Rachel Mcadams and Ryan Gosling) form this amazing emotional depth to the story that simply makes you fall in love wiht the movie. This story definetely opened the tear ducts. My favorite part of the movie ws the ending which really struck me and this movie will probablly stay with me for the rest of my life.
This is a mature story about enduring love, sacrifice commitment and appriciation of you life partner. I think this movie presnted a good message in every day life which is the power of believing and those who really love and believe nuthing can be impossible.
She's seen the movie twice and loved it too death, she said it reminds her of our relationship.
So there i am watching it and by the middle of the film, my girlfriend is balling her eyes out and myself, dry as the arizona desert.
So the film finally ends, she asks me what i thought..."cute" i said and she's like "what? cute? come on..it was beautiful!"
So instead of getting into a big discussion on this film, i just told that yes, i did actually like it...now i'm a bit lying, cause although it was good, it was not the best romantic film i've ever seen but yes it was nice.
If your a girl, i think you'll love this movie, if your a guy like me with some feeling inside you, then it's a cute movie to watch with a girlfriend or a girl, but i wouldn't watch it alone..i find there's no point!
Sorry..hope that wasn't too mean!
...last thing, the ending was very nice and sweet, see i said something nice!
Now babe, can we watch Hostel?
I have often said that if a movie can make me cry...it will be a favorite of mine for ALL time! This story is so sweet and heartwarming. Beyond the story, I think that the actors did an amazing job of portraying the characters. I fell in love with Noah Calhoun along side Allie...I even said to my husband half way through, "I really like that guy...he's really cool!!" There is just something about him, that drew me in. (Ryan Gosling)
I love that throughout the story you never really know whether the man reading Allie the story is Noah, or Lon...they leave you guessing until the end (I won't give away the secret!!) But after the movie my husband and I were saying that either way...it would have been alright.
It is a MUST see in my books...the actors are amazing, and the story is amazing!! I felt emotionally drained after watching it!! There is nothing like a good cry...especially when it is not something in your own life that you are crying about!!
I LOVED IT!!
