This program does not work at all. Can't even install and even asked a computer technician to check but it still doesn't work. Then I went to Walmart to pick up another publishing program.

I up graded from Platinum 4 (about 10 yrs old.) I found the program not as user friendly as previous versions Difficult to figure out how the titles and texts function. I like to do banners but did not find that section easy to work with. They have made it too complicated ....just like Windows 7.0

Included Graphics Virtually Impossible to Use,

If you want to use this program to make cards or projects with photos or JPEGs that you import, then it seems to work pretty well. But the program advertises that it comes with "275,000 sensational graphics." And if you want to insert those into your project, it is incredibly inconvenient and time consuming to find the ones you want. In the old, Sierra, version of Print Artist, all of the graphics, including the ones you imported, were stored in a library, which you could search by typing in a search word -- for example, "heart" if you wanted to make a card with an image of a heart on it. In this version of the software, if you type in heart, it will only show you the hearts available in whatever folder of the library you happen to have opened. And the program's graphics library is divided into dozens of folders. So you would have to open each one that might contain a heart, and search it individually. But this is only for the graphics that are included on the installation DVD, a small percentage of the supposed 275,000. Most of the graphics are on a 2nd, "Bonus DVD." This cannot even be imported into the program's graphics library, but instead can only be searched by opening one of the many dozens of folders, and looking through the images one at a time. So if you want to use any of these graphics you need a ton of free time on your hands. It's infuriating that a program I bought 12 years ago from Sierra worked so much better than this current version.

For those wary of purchasing this program, do not hesitate to buy it. You literally can do just about anything you want. It is truly a family program. Many interests for a wide range of ages makes it worthwhile. My machine is a Windows 7 64-bit and it is fully compatible. Many others are not. There are so many catagories and choices to choose from. Have been using it for almost two months. Thoroughly enjoy it!

I find Print Artist Gold to be a very user friendly program with unending possibilities. This is the best print program I have had in a very long time. Since I purchased Print Artist I have recommended it to friends and will continue to do so.
