Easy number book counting up to ten. Great for pre-K tudents. The pictures were pretty as well. Be sure to talk about the book while you are reading it. What animals are these, what sounds do they make? What color is their fur? etc.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Basic Picture Book Teaching the Numbers One to Ten July 4 2012
By Mr James N Simpson - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a pretty basic concept, 10 different types of animals on each page starting with just one elephant. The amount of the same type of animal on each page is the same as the number being talked about in a sentence so children can also count them by pointing at each one or whatever. Often the next number rhymes with the one before such as "five is for the monkeys swinging in a tree, six is for the parrots talking back to me." Illustrations are pretty cartoony and fun as well.

This book was very good for children learning to read. I would recommend it to 1-3 years old to read it.

This book is adorable! Very cute illustrations to keep your child interested while you are reading to them. This is a great book to put on your Kindle device for times when you need to engage your child. It is about the right length for a child's attention span. You can't go wrong with this one!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great entertainment for my toddler granddaughter March 14 2013

A fun little counting book for young children. My granddaughter flips back and forth through the pictures and when she stops, we count. Nice colors, clear pictures, very simple. This is just the kind of thing I like to keep on my Kindle for her.
