There are too few books about Nunavut, or at least, as informative and comprehensive as this one. McElroy really gives an in-depth look at the evolution of Nunavut and how things have developped since WWII. Furthermore, she explores and studies the sociological effects of the modernization of the culture which have caused some good, and some strains, on the people and their culture.
