Review
"Full of such inventive naughtiness--it may be better to keep these away from your children." -- Emma Thompson
Book Description
The three books in the Nurse Matilda series are back in print and reproduced to replicate the charming first editions originally published in the 1960s. These timeless classics are illustrated by the internationally renowned Edward Ardizzone and are the inspiration for the 2005 film Nanny McPhee, starring Emma Thompson and Colin Firth.
The marvellous stories host scenes of relentless bouts of mischief as the Brown children break all the rules. But when no-nonsense nanny Nurse Matilda arrives with her special kind of magic, things happen beyond everyone's wildest expectations. Here is a nostalgic treat for readers and collectors, also available in a beautiful boxed set.
