4.0 out of 5 stars if you have to do theory, Jan 18 2004

I'm not a big nursing theory fan, but if this is required reading, this book isn't too terrible. It does give some interesting background work on all of the theorists and tries not to complicate any of the already sometimes confusing and convoluted theories. For this topic - that's saying a lot.

2.0 out of 5 stars Dry as can be, Aug 25 2005

If I knew that this kind of reading was in store, I would not have returned to school. Can't someone make this topic exciting to read about? Not these authors. Maybe no one can make nursing theory exciting. Maybe there is a reason.
