UK two disc (CD + NTSC/Region 0 DVD) live release from this Art/Prog/Pop duo featuring Israeli Pop star Aviv Geffen and multi-instrumentalist Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree). This CD and DVD set captures a gig recorded at the Bowery Ballroom in New York in 2007. This set finds the band performing tracks from their critically acclaimed Blackfield and Blackfield II albums. The DVD also includes three bonus video clips and a photo gallery. K-Scope.

An entertaining but laid back video,

A re-released [but untouched otherwise] DVD from 2007 as well as the CD audio to the same concert.Containing most of the Blackfield catalog [they only have 2 albums at this time] plus playing "Once" a second time during the encore and a cover of Alanis Morissette's "Thankyou". Recorded in New York in the spring of 2007 at the Bowery Ballroom [probably a bit larger than a typical club] for a short ture which features Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson and a mostly shirtless Aviv Geffen. If you are familiar with Porcupine Tree, this is a typical video editing by Lasse Hoile - who's done just about all the videos in the past few years plus the Arriving Somewhere DVD. Hoile tends to like to use "grainy" video shots in some parts of the vodeo as well as others tactics to make it look a bit vintage. As for the music itself, while the first Blackfield album was a bit laid back and the second Blackfield album [ingeniously called Blackfield II] sounded a bit more like Porcupine Tree, the DVD [and CD] sounds a bit more of the latter. Promo videos for 3 "singles" are included as well. Note: The CD and DVD are stored on top of each other and not in [what should of been a] double CD jewel case. Unsure why KScope/Snapper decided on this. They are using the "Super Jewel Box" cases [the ones with the rounded corners] and 2 disc cases are available.

Steven Wilson is a genius period.Everything he touches turns to gold IMHO.I was at this show,and I can say that this recording is true.There are no over dubs,and no tricks to fool you.What you hear,is what I heard that wonderful snowy night in N.Y.C.Don't think twice pick this up,as well as the dvd.I guarantee you will love this recording.Blackfield are awesome.Aviv Geffen is spectacular as well.Treat your eyes,and ears to perfect music.

Amazon is listing in their product detail/description that this is a 2-disc item. Supposedly a DVD and a CD. Received mine yesterday and there is only 1 disc (a CD). I contacted Amazon and they are looking into it. 0 stars for the misleading description, but definitely 5 stars for the music.
