This review is from: O'Brian's Bride (Paperback)
I'm a huge fan of Colleen Faulkner's & this book did not disappoint.

Description from the back of the book:

Vows Made...Elizabeth Lawrence left her pampered English childhood behind to journey to the far-off Colonies...and marry a man she'd never met. But her dreams turned to dust when an explosion killed her new husband at his powder mill, leaving Elizabeth alone to run his business...and face a perilous life on the untamed frontier.

Vows Broken...In desperation, Elizabeth becomes engaged to her husband's brother, even as she secretly shrinks from his touch. Then fate brings another man into her life: strong, sensual, and secretive Michael Patrick O'Brian. Now, as America simmers on the brink of revolution, Elizabeth must choose between a promise made and a passionate future with a man who is not what he seems...O'Brian's Bride.

* Do not pass up an opportunity to read this book. I loved it. The romance was awesome & the people were great. Highly recommended.
