This book drastically changed how I viewed the world. Through the beautiful pictures and stories I learned about the plight of those who are exploited and forgotten, and challenged me to do something to change that. I especially appreciated the end section that gives ideas for action...things I can actually DO right now to make a difference. Makes a great gift, not only because it's a creative coffee table book, but because it's message cannot be ignored.

It was an honor to be asked to contribute to this book. It was not a matter of thinking about a story to tell, but how many would you like. My job puts me in touch with children in need on a very regular basis, i am so lucky to know hundreds of children who are represented by the stories in this book. Each chapter tells the story of someones life, someone who is valuable, who is precious and who is loved and someone whom we as human being are connected with and responsible for. There is a world of suffering that children are subjected to and most of us will never know, until we look through the pages, read their stories and see their photographs.I hope that each person who reads this book will be challenged to be "one" who stands up to injustice and this book becomes a launching pad for transformation! jenni viva

Ordering a copy of this for my son for Christmas. I know the author and his wife and their wonderful organization, Absolute Leadership. Check out their website and the amazing things they have done and continue to do. Definitely a "must have" book.
