This review is from: OSCE and Clinical Skills Handbook (Paperback)
This is a very good book for med students and was written by a student. If you an IMG and looking for a good and reliable OSCE preparation or remediation guide , this book is of limited value for you, as it does not address approach to common situations of patient management and counselling. Still, this is a good source for a quick brush up of an interviewing technique and physical, but do not rely on this book as a solo source of wisdom.

Great book for OSCE prep. It is quite comprehensive, yet concise and easy to read. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a textbook on carrying out physical exams.

I just completed my Year 4 OSCEs at a Canadian university. Though this book doesn't really prepare you for the counselling end of things, it's great for histories and physicals. I'm glad I bought it. Whatever you do, make sure you practice the physicals and verbalize *everything*. It's hard to do in an exam situation, but you need to or you'll lose mad marks.
