I can't count how many devices I've set up to run XBMC but this is the slickest in terms of ease of setup, software/system integration, size, and performance relative to cost. The OUYA has plenty of power with it's quad core cpu and Tegra3 gpu to provide a solid platform to run XBMC on. The OUYA XBMC version is tailored to work with the OUYA wireless controller without the requirement for any additional equipment. It's a complete package to get you up and running right out of the box at a cost that's hard to beat. As of writing this I find there is little if anything to compete with the OUYA in the XBMC set top box market when you look at all factors. If you value your time this is a no brainer to set up XBMC on and get running and runs as well if not better than any other set top box I've worked with in this price range or even higher. There's a lot more to OUYA than XBMC but on the merits of XBMC alone this box is A1 in my books. Well thought out, stylish and simple. A very slick little product that I'm delighted I purchased. I'll likely buy more as gifts so others can appreciate it as much as I do I think so highly of it.

I received my OUYA last week and am very pleased at what it can do. I bought it mostly for the emulators on the console. Neo.emu, md.emu, snes9x, pce.emu, nes.emu are all excellent apps that are worth the price alone for the console. The N64 emulator needs lots of work but is amazing to see classic games in full HD in higher resolutions. Hopefully Mame comes to the console in the app download centre as it would be a nice little arcade machine for your HD TV.
If emulation is not your thing there is many new games that are lots of fun. Towerfall, Beast Boxing Turbo, ChronoBlade, Final Fantasy 3 are a few that are definitely lots of fun. I am very excited to see new games released and see potential in the OUYA.

Cons: Wi-Fi disconnects and has major problems finding your router. This is the major problem I have with the console. Hopefully the internet connection problems can be fixed in a firmware update as this makes it very frustrating for the user. Since this is a download only console this MUST be fixed unless they make an online shop on the PC where you can transfer purchases from a USB onto the OUYA.
- Controller looks better than what it really is. The DPAD is horrible and buttons are not very responsive. If you are going to play games make sure you use your PS3 controller or plug in a USB controller. Lets hope they rerelease an improved controller in the future that is comparable to the Xbox 360 or PS3 quality.
- The user interface is glitchy. Some apps are difficult to exit, payments cannot be made when purchasing games due to connection wifi problems, sound popping noises in the UI. Essentially work needs to be done on the UI.

Overall I do believe the console has lots of potential and overall has excellent video, colour and audio. The ability to use other USB devices and controllers is a HUGE Plus and can't wait to see what else comes out for this console.

This is a really awesome console! Forget any other cheap android device or even Apple TV, this device runs XBMC like a charm. This console is easily hackable in fact it was made to be cracked, so you can install any of your Google play games on it. It runs NES, SNES, and PSONE games really well. I haven't tried N64 games yet but there is an app to run them.

-It runs everything in 1080p
-Comes with an HDMI Cable
-You can plug in an external hard drive ( I have a 500 gig one currently hooked up)
-The system is "open" so you can side load applications such as your Google Play games
-I would say that it has the performance and graphical potential of an XBOX 360, in the size Rubik's Cube (extremely portable).
-You can play online games or play with 3 other people in the same room
-There is an application where you can stream games from your computer (Kainy)
-Your XBOX and PS controllers work with the system
-You can hook up a blue tooth keyboard and mouse
-The console is still supported, new games and applications are constantly being developed.
-You can develop your own applications/games for it and sell them or give them out for free.
-Every application or game has to have a demo so you can actually try out the game or application before you purchase it.

This thing is pure awesomeness :D

I bought this a week or so ago and am very happy with it. It has XBMC so you can stream anything, including TV shows that have just aired. You can also play any NES, SNES or N64 game for free. I have loaded 200+ games to the console myself. Also, you can stream content from your home computer. I don't need my WD TV anymore. This does everything that can do plus a ton more.

Love my Ouya and it is so far the best for running the XBMC program. Definitely a must have if you want to run XBMC.

all the people that say this console sucks and its terrible need to coke to grips with something. its a 99$ android tegra 3 cpu device. its wont play games that are 1080p fantastic aaa skyrim type graphics (some come close) its not a ps4 or xbox one. its a great little system for fun little games (towerfall, icerage) emulators (n64, ps1, c64) web browsing video streaming and much more. if your buying this console to just play ouya store games it may not be worth 100 but if you use it to its full potential it is easily worth the 100$ (the emulation alone is worth 100 to me) so if you want to do more then just play games and dont want to drop 500 dollars on a xbox one to play gta5 (it has gta 3 and vice city able to be sideloaded) then this is the console for you
