5.0 out of 5 stars A Must for Teens! April 29 2013
By Chris Roden - Published on Amazon.com

First, let me point out the entire contents of this book are on a government website. Just look up the title. Having said that, I prefer the book. You don't get a feel for the huge number of jobs described by this book when you're looking at it one page at a time on your computer. I force this book on teens when they come into my classroom just so they get a clue about how many different types of jobs are out there that they've never heard of. Plus, the book give the typical day on the job, the working environment, the number of people currently working in that field, a projection of the number of jobs in the future, the current salary range, etc.

If you are a teen or have a teen and job decisions are in your future, this book is essential. I recommend looking at it early in high school so the classes that would help on the chosen job can be taken.

I gave it to my Granddaughter who now keeps it on her coffee table and she and her friends use it often to talk and plan for their careers and work goals.
