I have at least 7 of the 3d documentaries. and this one rates just as good as any. in my opinion, it is probably somewhere in the upper middle. I know that this was presented in imax theaters, but i'm not sure it was an actual imax film. I know under the sea, deep sea, and hubble are definitely imax films. You can just tell the difference in 3d quality, and the actual amount of real 3d shots. That's just if you're gonna get picky.
If you're wondering which movie/documentary to get, i'd say either Hubble or Deep Sea. If you're gonna pay the 26 or 27 $ for this one, just go all out and get the actual imax ones. Although i really liked tahiti and wild ocean.
The only 3d documentary i don't want is the grand canyon. i saw the first 5 minutes and it is really preachy, with Robert Redford almost getting mad at you for stuff we kinda have no control over.
Ocean Wonderland has a little bit of conservation preaching, but nothing that makes me not want to watch it again. I liked it a lot and would recommend it. I just recommend the actual imax films a little more.
