Like its predecessor Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve is a piffle of a caper, a preposterous plot given juice and vitality by a combination of movie star glamour and the exuberant filmmaking skill of director Steven Soderbergh (Out of Sight, The Limey). The heist hijinks of the first film come to roost for a team of eleven thieves (including the glossy mugs of Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Bernie Mac, and Don Cheadle), who find themselves pursued not only by the guy they robbed (silky Andy Garcia), but also by a top-notch detective (plush Catherine Zeta-Jones) and a jealous master thief (well-oiled Vincent Cassel) who wants to prove that team leader Danny Ocean (dapper George Clooney) isn't the best in the field. As if all that star power weren't enough--and the eternally coltish Julia Roberts also returns as Ocean's wife--one movie star cameo raises the movie's combined wattage to absurd proportions. But all these handsome faces are matched by Soderbergh's visual flash, cunning editing, and excellent use of Amsterdam, Paris, and Rome, among other highly decorative locations. The whole affair should collapse under the weight of its own silliness, but somehow it doesn't--the movie's raffish spirit and offhand wit soar along, providing lightweight but undeniable entertainment. --Bret Fetzer

this was an amazing show. Especially when he goes through the lazers to get to the egg. George Clooney is Hallarious and the 2 that fight all the time are so funny.The ending was a great surprise. Izzy Izzard, was a great surprise, very funny.I thought this was a great movie, seen it lots. I even liked it better than the first one. The only complaint is the whole Julie Roberts thing...but it's not really that bad.
Can't wait for the 3rd one. My fav. movies are: Goodfellas, Made, Wedding Crashers, Anchorman, 40 year Old Virgin, Napolean Dynomite, Man on fire, Me, Myself, and Irene, Weekend at Bernies,Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. Tv: Rescue Me, The Shield, Seinfeld, House, Raymond, Will and Grace...
Hopefully if you have the same taste as me, you'll get Oceans 12...totally worth it.

I do not know how they could ruin such a great oppurtunity, especially since Ocean's Eleven was such a good movie.The acting was not as good as the first and the storyline was so predictable and so boring I can't help but scoff at there attempts to make a good movie.
Well, for those who don't know, there is a chance they may make an Ocean's Thirteen (13 is not a lucky number,) and hopefully they'll redeem this crap-tastic film in the next, if they decide to do it. But, take my advice, skip this film and go buy Ocean's Eleven. That was a good movie.

The first one was so good, and this one is just terrible. The intriguing thing that they had to go through on the first movie just didn't happen here. And Julia Roberts in this movie looked terrible, too!

Not worth your time..
This movie is just horrible. The story line is boring and predictable. The cast features many wonderful actors, but this sadly does not result in anything worth seeing. Read more

Not as good as the first
This movie was ok. I thought the first one was better. It is kind of confusing, you really have to watch and pay attention, but by the end it all comes together.

Lots of fun the actors, no story for the audience.
The first movie was decent. Definitely kept me interested, and I loved the sting in the end. To continue it without a logical reason just seems to be a waste. Read more
