About the Author
Susan Price started writing and telling stories when she was very young – and was winning prizes for it from the age of fourteen. Her first novel, THE DEVIL’S PIPER, was bought by a publisher when she was sixteen. Since then, she has written many books for children and young adults, including THE STERKARM HANDSHAKE, which won the Guardian Children’s Fiction Award, and THE GHOST DRUM, which won the Carnegie Medal.
