Great for teaching history Dec 16 2013

We are spending a year going through world geography, this doesn't leave me a lot of time for each country. I wanted to introduce history into the mix as well, and find that these sort of books do the trick pretty well. I was so excited to find the Canadian Flyer Adventures and actually bought several to get us through the Canada unit. The info is pretty spot on and while the reading level is not all that high, the topics are interesting enough to start discussions at a much deeper levels.
