5.0 out of 5 stars Once for All Time, Oct 24 2001

Back Cover: "Clotilde Collins has worked with Dr. James Thackery at busy St. Alma's Hospital in London for three years, but she's never considered their relationship as anything more than solidly professional.
Then tragedy strikes and James steps in to take charge of Clotilde's shattered world, offering her his unhesitating comfort and support.
How easy it would be to fall in love with him.
Except he's already committed to another woman......"
This is another of Ms. Neels' highly satisfying stories about the tall handsome mature doctor and the warm, devoted competent Sister that has not any idea of his feelings for her. This time the Sister is tall and striking and dating another doctor. But the hero has been very patient and has been a quietly helpful friend. The book also has all the lovely other Neels ingredients such as lifetime servants who are family, wonderful siblings and companion pets.

4.0 out of 5 stars Classic Betty, Nov 10 2010

Achat Amazon vérifié(Quest-ce que cest?)
I began reading romances when I was very young, and Betty Neels was my favorite author. She doesn't not have complicated or diverse plots, but she is predictably sweet and clean in her love stories. I enjoyed this book, as I have all her books, though I do admit some sentimentality for this author.

As in most of her books, the story revolves around a nurse and the doctor she works along side. I enjoyed that the good doctor fell in love with Clotilde long before she fell for him.

There is not an enormous amount of character development, but Betty always provides both heroes and heroines with strong moral fiber in general. This story is a simple, quick, refreshing breeze.

5.0 out of 5 stars ALL BETTY NEELS BOOKS, Nov 6 2010
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com

I set February aside to re-read at least 60 of Betty Neel's books...........it's such a grey month here in the NW.........that's my treat for ME!! sometimes I take them in chronological order (publ date) sometimes alphabetically .... even at random. ALWAYS a great read. I've been to England and The Netherlands MORE than all other European cities -- I think mainly because the Betty Neels' books make both areas so "familiar" -- or "must sees"
THANK YOU for all of them!! Beryl Warner
