This book drastically changed how I viewed the world. Through the beautiful pictures and stories I learned about the plight of those who are exploited and forgotten, and challenged me to do something to change that. I especially appreciated the end section that gives ideas for action...things I can actually DO right now to make a difference. Makes a great gift, not only because it's a creative coffee table book, but because it's message cannot be ignored.

This book truly opens your eyes to the world around you. It brought tears to my eyes while I was reading it. You go through a cycle of emotion when reading. It takes you from disappointment, to anger, to sadness and to hope. It inspired me to do something about the issues and to take a stand. This might just be the book to open people's eyes and to make a difference. Vaden, this book was necessary! Thank you for opening my eyes to the issues around me!
