I just finished watching the One Direction: The Only Way is Up documentary.
I'm a huge fan that tends to keep up with all things One Direction, but I wanted to learn more, so i purchased this DVD.
I learned nothing from watching it; it was literally the same 10 video clips over and over again and facts that everyone already knew; they placed third on X-Factor. Youtube compilations are a million times better.
They didn't show any interviews that they boys have done from any media source. I'm not even sure I even heard Zayn talk the entire time.
The ending basically stated that they have no hope for them staying together.
They called Harry the lead singer and basically a womanizer, just with nicer terms.
They all got introduced and people from their hometowns were interviewed, except Niall, who only got called the Irish Justin Bieber and then they cut to Liam. Plus they spent about 8 minutes on Harry with less than 2 on all the other boys.
The editing was so choppy, a ten year old with iMovie could have done better.
I bought this because I wanted the "professionals" to tell me why these boys have "it," not about how they won't succeed, not how Larry Stylinson is a moniker from fans and that they are the only true friends in the group. Pity, I wanted to like this so much, I had it rushed delivered.
