3.0 out of 5 stars Great story but...., Jul 31 2009
By M. Tauber "Jane Austen Fan" (Canada) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This story is about a woman who sacrificed her dreams for her husband, his career, and their family, until one day she is given an opportunity she can't pass up.
Emotions, thoughts and the high life were well portrayed. I enjoyed the story over all except for one thing: the constant name dropping of designer labels, fashion lines and products. And it was constant! More often than not I was left puzzling (and ready to scream). I don't have any idea what this is supposed to look like. If the husband is a lawyer for the stars, and she is noticed by a star, obviously they hob nob with the rich and famous, or are close to it. My imagination can do the rest.
