Product Description

From Library Journal

In this collection of historical novellas featuring settings from bawdy Georgian England to the Wild Wyoming West, the heroes and heroines in each spend one fateful night together and find their lives changed in the process. For instance, Deborah Martin's "Too Wicked for Heaven" is a passionate story of a young woman who spends the night with a disreputable nobleman to save her uncle from a duel; and Anne Stuart's "Dangerous Touch" is the dark and unusual tale of a woman who is attracted to the hired gun who killed her abusive husband. A sensual and compelling collection..

from the back cover-

Such Wild Enchantment by Kimberly Cates
His handsome face hidden behind an ebony mask, the dashing highwayman halts a coach mid-journey -only to be held at pistol-point by a violet-eyed minx who leads her virile Knight of the Road into a passionate duel of hearts.

The Lady and the Tiger by Christina Dodd (also found in the anthology My Scandalous Bride)
Known throughout England for his bold cunning and magnificent feats of daring, the sensual rogue call the Seamaster's is undone by a saucy seamstress who steals into his room on a mission of revenge...until the Seamaster's first kiss awakens scandalous desire.

Too Wicked for Heaven by Deborah Martin
Caught in a compromising situation with the most notorious rake in London, a virtuous lady is unaware that he has his own secret reasons for pursuing her. Now, in exchange for reclaiming her honor, she must spend one night with her irresistible would-be seducer.

Dangerous Touch by Anne Stuart
As range war spreads across the rough-and-tumble West, a black-clad stranger with an angel's face and a tarnished soul rides into Wyoming, where he clashes with a feisty young widow determined to fight for her land....and win the heart of this enigmatic outlaw who isn't what he seems.

This is definitely one of the better anthologies. Four captivating short stories that I've read over and over again. For someone who likes the bad boys in their historical romance and doesn't mind the subcompact story line.

Other anthologies that I have enjoyed:
Lady Whistledown Strikes Back
The Further Observations of Lady WhistledownMy Scandalous Bride
Where's My Hero?
Scottish Brides
