A sweet book with an important message. I use it when I teach 6-9 year olds. It is a lovely way to show the importance of sharing, co-operating and being patient with others. Plus, Jane and Brooke Dyer are my favourite illustrators!

As an elementary school librarian, I have used all the books in this "cookie" series to help children understand the importance of getting along with others and how not to bully. August 9th I'm planning to start school (day 1)reading this new one to classes 2nd grade & up. The vocabulary is easy to understand when related to cookies and the illustrations just couldn't be more delicious.

If anyone wants a book that will help improve vocabulary for a child along with entertaining her at the same time I highly recommend this book. I purchased two for my granddaughter and one for my niece. They are beautiful books about making cookies and learning the meaning of words about ones feelings, emotions, character, etc at the same time. The illustrations of the expressions of the emotion, etc., are excellent!
