Product Description

Do you love a good Irish story? Then you might like the Village of Ballydara series!

In this breezy romantic comedy, Aislin Moore follows the mad impulse to find the perfect father figure for her little boy...and discovers she's complicated her life more than she ever dreamed. Juggling the needs of her daddy-hungry son with her first love Ben and her estranged father, this Dublin single mom is fresh out of her klutzy charm to help her sort out the mess she's created.

Taking refuge at her granny's cottage in the little village of Ballydara, Aislin is faced with decisions about love, family and forgiveness. Can a commitment-shy young mother find lasting love?

4.0 out of 5 stars charming Oct. 24 2012

I found the book charming, sweet and some surprises. Somewhat long in Aislin's going back and forth in her thinking about her dillema. I did enjoy it and would like to visit with the characters again.

5.0 out of 5 stars So Charming! July 19 2011

What a charming novel! I was reeled in from the first paragraph and couldn't wait to see what happened to the heroine, Aislin. Truly loved the cast of characters and their banter back and forth. I felt completely transported into the lives of these Dublin residents. If you're a fan of Marian Keyes, this one is for you!

the story takes place mostly in Ireland, but with American connections throughout. it is a bit of a self search with a love story blended in. even has a happy ending, though at times I wondered.
