This review is from: Ontario Provincial Parks Trail Guide (Paperback)
This book is not good for those who don't already have a good knowledge of Ontario Geography. The maps lack detail. As I am new to Canada. I needed to use the internet in conjunction with this book.Which is what i was trying to avoid on a great outdoors road trip. Perhaps in a year or two i will find this book more usefull!

As an avid camper and hiker in Ontario, I greatly value this guide. It provide a clear overview of the hiking trails in Ontario's provincial parks. I especially value knowing the length and difficulty and major features ahead of time. It also indicates when a hiking trail is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.

Allen MacPherson is a genius. This book is a must have for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and trails. He is a great professor, and proves himself with this book. Check out his other book. It is definetly worth reading, too. Do not hesitate to pick this up!!
