Dr. Levy takes a fresh and very logical approach to an issue of great importance to everyone. I've read many diet and health books, and none of them cover such a wide variety of topics. Dr. Levy doesn't get too technical and cites enough scientific literature to support his findings.

This book is comprehensive yet very easy to read. Dr. Levy covers numerous topics including the need for proper food combinations, the risk of low cholesterol, the dangers of seafood, the negatives of milk, recommendations for proper supplementation, and the need to avoid other toxins such as the mercury in dental fillings. Dr. Levy includes a large number of practical and useful suggestions on how to achieve the goal of optimal nutrition. Definitely recommended reading for anyone interested in improving his or her health.

After reading this book, I achieved a weight loss not associated with stimulants of any sort. I learned how to eat sensibly and what to watch out for when combining various foods at a meal. It helped me plan the constituents that complimented each other. After I got that down, the weight started to come off.

Dr. Levy's command of his subject matter is unmatched. His findings, while sometimes startling, underscore the importance of being informed and doing your homework to back up findings.

Dr. Levy's legal training also provides unique insight and perspective as to the challenges facing the medical, dental and nutritional worlds - and the institutional impediments to progress for those of us not versed in medical wisdom.

Thanks for another great book, Doctor, and here's to your good health and continued research.
