Not including high resolution art is a shame!24bit/48kHz wave files easily accessible from the USB Key. Remasters aren't brick walled but the volume has been increased to what 24/48 can handle. Recording are clearer and cleaning.

No access to wav files,

Sorry folks but my copy won't give me any playable access to the wav files on the USB drive. All I get is the artwork and the Mp3's. But $300 is a bit much for just Mp3's, isn't it? I hope someone can identify what the problem is and come up with a fair solution to the problem. All I really want is the 24 bit 48kHz wav files and I'll be happy. Anyone else having this problem? I'm using a Mac; so I don't know why iTunes wouldn't accept it. This is the only bad review I've ever given and I purchase a lot from Amazon. Sad.

This is a complete waste of money and should be avoided if it's the 24 bit WAV files you are after. The WAV files could not be copied off the drive and could not be read by iTunes, Windows Media Player or any other player. I tried this on both a MAC and a PC and in each case the files were being reported as damaged or corrupt. Initially I thought I'd just been unlucky and received a faulty Orb but after receiving a replacement from Amazon I'm having the exact same issue. Needless to say, the Orb is going back for a refund.

As an item the Royal Orb USB is more beautiful than it seems.I had some promblems with the "hidden wav files". I solved it, by clicking on my computer -tools - folder - view - scroll down - show hidden files - (CD drive Queen orb) right click -open queen orb- music. Great music and remaster from one of the greatest rock bands, with many milestones albums(Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at the opera, A day at the races, Innuendo, Made in heaven). Also albums like Jazz sound better, brighter and bigger - they gain their glolry which they deserve. |
