Solid Case for a phone of large size and few case options. Jan. 4 2013
By Nathan Cameron - Published on Amazon.com
I bought mine from eBay from a seller brand new; however, the case itself is the same as the one sold here. It works as a 2 piece system (rubber first and then hard plastic second). The case looks rugged and the phone still fits in my pocket. It adds a little width but not much overall bulk. I am used to having an extended battery on my EVO 4g so I may be used to the added depth. The LG Optimus G is kind of a black sheep in terms of cases. There are few accessories for it and it is already a big phone so you don't want the case to add even more bulk. IMO, it gets the job done without adding too much bulk.

Excellent product Feb. 16 2013

This is an awesome product. It fits perfectly and adds just enough thickness and weight to the phone to make it easier to handle (i thought it too thin and slippery before). Hard shell.with flexible inner shell protects the phone from inevitable drops.

offers good protection July 26 2013

The first thing that one needs to know before purchasing this case for their LG Optimus G, is that this case seems to be made for the Sprint model. I have the AT&T model and it doesn't quite fit correctly. It isn't a big deal breaker, it is noticeable, but not blatantly obvious, and it hasn't caused any problems for me so far. The screen protector is also a little too long to fit, so I had to cut a little bit off. Also, the white rubber part can get dirty pretty quickly, I've been able to clean it with a wet cloth or sanitary wipes though.

But I got this case to protect my phone, and so far it has done exactly that. If you have the AT&T model though, you may not want to pay $30 for a case that does't fit your phone correctly.

Fits the phone well. I've dropped my phone a couple of times and the OtterBox protected it. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Decent, not awesome March 4 2013

The rubber and hard plastic parts of this case are fantastic. The hard shell takes a little work to get on and off which is exactly how it should be. A close fit is what you want. All the ports have adequate cut-outs and all the buttons are protected but still easily manipulated.

The clear screen protector, on the other hand, is garbage. Even after thoroughly wiping the screen with the included "lint-free cloth", the adhesive side of the protector gathered dust from the air before I could even come close to getting it seated squarely over the screen. This led to numerous air bubbles that wouldn't simply work themselves out after a few days because they were caused by tiny specs of dust. I eventually had to toss it.

This case is EXPENSIVE, and for the premium price I expected a premium product. I had to spend more money to get a decent screen protector to use with it and make it a complete armor system for my phone. Not cool...

Oddly, this seller removed the case from the factory packaging and shipped it in a padded envelope, which meant that I received no instructions. That doesn't strike me as being a very good idea.
