Went from an iPhone 4 to a 5 recently and first stop from Apple store was to purchase another Otterbox case & holster. All in all, some major improvements over the Defender for the "4". The rubber is much tougher and not "stretchy" at all. Port covers open and close properly. When you're done charging, close the cover and it stays closed. However (you knew there had to be one), the only catch is getting the phone back into the click holster. It's not as smooth as it was with the 4. You have to line it up "just right" and it clicks where it's supposed to. If you don't, it's not going in. At all.
Would I buy again? Yes - just getting used to putting the front bottom clip in, the back bottom click in and then the top clip clicks and it's very very secure.
