I love this and the original series, and was very happy that this series has been released. I purchased season 1 (the only season to come out in the United States) as soon as it was available and waited and waited for other seasons to be produced. It was only by chance I came across seasons 2 through 7 here at amazon.ca and was thrilled. I purchased seasons 2 through 7 and all items arrived very quickly. Good job amazon.ca for shipping. I do have to comment on the manufacturer packaging...it is not real good. The discs did slip out of their holders and in every season package there were scratched discs. The discs were not scratched enough to prevent the playing of the discs, but it was disappointing. Some of the discs did have slight pauses in the video, but that is a manufacturer issue. Overall I am thrilled and excited to have this series in my collection and enjoy watching these shows all over again. I highly recommend this and the other seasons if you are a fan of this series.

May want to check disc 1 title 3,

Just received my copy from Amazon today. As expected a few discs were "floaters" and thus scratched. This Alliance "stacked" packaging is appalling but scratches usually do not effect playability. I attempted to view disc 1 but could not get title 3 (A New Life) to play on any of my DVD players. In the past, when I have experienced this problem, it has been a DVD coding issue and common to all copies. If you have purchased this set, you may wish to check.UPDATE: Just received replacement set from Amazon (Great service). A few of the discs have minor scratches but set appears to be playable (i.e. no problem playing disc 1 title 3).

This is a GREAT Series and Product! All quality is very good with exception to the packaging. Handle the Product with care, and there won't be any problems though. After Season 2 however, these are edited for content only. But, much better having an edited for content product than nothing from MGM!! Thank you to the Manufacturer for FINALLY making and distributing these!!!
