At first I was puzzled by what seemed to be erratic step counts. Contacted Ozeri and received a reply e-mail that very same day! The unit does not count the first 13 or so steps, then adds them to the full count when it is sure you are actually walking, not just moving around. I was also advised to shorten the stride length I had originally entered. Now it counts the steps very accurately, inside the house and outside.
I was very impressed with the speed and clarity of the reply I received from Ozeri; this quality of customer support is unusual in Canada, in my experience.

Ozeri 4x3motion 3D pedometer uses great up-to-date technology to accurately measure steps taken. It's great that it can be worn around the neck, allowing freedom of movement without having to be conscious of its existence, all the while tracking your movements. It's got a small, inobtrusive profile. It keeps a very accurate step count, and stores the info for 7 days, to compare your daily activity. I love it.

Unusable,it keeps resetting. Anytime, I go for a run or walk, invariably it's has reseted. So, no idea how many steps I have take.
